People are always asking how do I have time for all the volunteering I do on top of working full time... to me life is about being productive and making a difference for everyone. I do not want to be a taker, giving is much better.

To me my being in PTA is an extension of my parenting, I am aware of activities that could enhance our lives. As an Awana leader in my church, I get to be apart of shaping the minds and hearts of future christians. Girl Scouts is fulfilling because I play a role in helping girls have a healthy sense of self. In Altrusa, we help make communities better through service, partnerships and leadership.
