Get your Self-Care Action Plan Set

Yes I know it's a new year and we tend to renew our vow to ourselves to do better.

However, I am not asking you to do some drastic changing and renew.

What I'm proposing is that you make a plan and work toward being better each day. I'm not asking for perfection as we all know perfection does not exist.

Take a look at the image that I've provided and start to take bite-size changes in these different categories. Self-care is not just going to the spa and getting your hair done or a massage, it's other things in your life that are important to you. It's about setting boundaries and making sure that we are touching all aspects of our lives and the things that are important to us.

Creating a self-care action plan is a great way to prioritize and take care of yourself. Here are a few ideas to get started:

1. Set aside time each day to do something that makes you happy. It can be as simple as taking a few minutes to meditate, read a book, or take a walk.

2. Identify activities that help you relax and de-stress. These activities can include listening to music, playing a game, doing yoga, or even just taking a few deep breaths.

3. Make time for yourself to connect with friends and family. Having a strong support system can help reduce stress and give you a sense of belonging.

4. Make sure to get plenty of sleep and exercise. Getting enough rest and physical activity can help improve your mood and energy levels.

5. Eat healthy and balanced meals. Eating nutritious foods can help your body and mind feel better.

6. Boost your self-confidence by setting small goals and celebrating your successes.

7. Take time to recognize and appreciate your accomplishments.

8. Practice gratitude and think positively.

9. Talk to a professional if you need help. Seeking assistance from a mental health professional can help you cope with difficult emotions and situations.

We can make small daily changes to help ourselves "Better our Best".
