Summer when I was a kid

It is very frustrating that kids can not play like we used to play, yester year. Wakeup, wash face, brush teeth, get dresses, take off on our bikes as a group, play some sort of ball game, (i.e. kick, dodge, etc.) it was a lot like the movies goonies  and sandlots . we played from sunrise to sunset. Um!!  what memories :)

I have found Mondays to be rejuvenating.  I work weekends, so I do not look forward to them like most people. Mondays is the day that I get to spend time with my little one. Today we will go to the Library to turn in her books and check out new ones, go swimming and anything she wants to do.
