Monday morning Moms was quite the success for Rockbrook Elementary in Lewisville TX.

We greeted our students and then gathered in the computer lab to wish our individual kiddos with happy wishes.

Raising Thoughtful & Kind Children through Crafts

I am always thinking about the lessons I want my daughter to learn.

This past holiday season, I encouraged her to create personalized cards for her class.  We had so much fun that she wants to do it for every occasion.

My thought behind this lesson was to teach her to be thoughtful, think of and appreciate others as they are and build better relationships.

The recipient of the gesture will hopefully recognize that great thought went into this gift and in turn learn to pay the kindness forward to others.

We begin our Valentine project for her and 19 of her 2nd grade class mate.

I will send pictures when we have completed the project.
