Are you a Perfectionist...
We so often get caught up in trying to make everything just right... perfect that we don't create, build, start, innovate or develop anything and get it 'out there'.
Nothing is perfect... product, service, blog post, email, etc. nothing. In my opinion, lots of dreams have not come to fruition because of perfectionism.Someone else realizes this and makes their move. Just get it done to the best of your ability and release it. Use all feedback from your community to make it better or make adjustments.
What is perfectionism and do you struggle with it? I challenge you to share one project, idea or passion with your friends and family;that, you feel vulnerable about and that you don't think is 'perfect' enough? Put it out there and see what happens! You might be surprised.

Do you have well rounded kiddos
Do you have children that are well-rounded? Or should I ask do you have kiddos that are in a position to be marketable and competitive? In my opinion most all activities provide an opportunity for individuals to be leaders teaching them various skills to be successful in life.
If we do not allow our children to have various experience, how will they know how to conduct and trust themselves.
I believe that community service and social activities allow a kid a bigger platform in which to utilize and demonstrate what they bring to the table; before, during and after college. Preparing them for that ever so competitive job market that they will all be battling for once they are out on their own.
What I have found, is that we parents are not secure in the job we have done or are doing. Parents must let go a bit in order for our kids to grow and learn about who they really are apart from us.
So, give them a little push and let the chips fall where they may. The worst thing to happen is that they fall...the best thing to happen is they learn a little more about themselves.

10 ways to support me and my new journey as an Author.
1. Buy the book. Seriously. It’s that simple.
2. Give my book as gifts. Skip the ugly sweaters, re-gifted wine and gift certificates (that you know your girl will use on others anyway.
3. Tell 10 people about my new book. Caring is sharing. Even better if you can tell them about why we wrote the book. "Let go and Let God"
4. Share the book on social media. Take pictures of the covers and share them on Instagram or Twitter etc.
5. Write reviews on Amazon.
Online reviews are social proof that a book is not only being purchased, but read and talked about.
6. Recommend my book on GoodReads. Seriously, what better place to find support for an author’s work than on a site dedicated to people who love books?
7. Request my book at your library. No kidding, libraries are great business for books. The American Library Association estimates there are just over 119,000 libraries in the U.S. I’d be on the New York Times bestseller’s list in no time. Bonus: librarians are THE BEST book advocates, and if a library goer makes known that he/she is into a book and wants to see it on the shelves, the librarians will put it there.
8. Recommend my book to teachers, Bible Study friends and Church book stores. This gives them a new topic to cover for their next study and add to their library.
9. Write a feature on my book or me. If you have a blog? A podcast? A newsletter? A YouTube channel? An email list. I will respond to any and all interviews, so long as you agree to use your platform to tell others about the work that I’m doing and encourage them to support that work. I ain’t too proud to beg, and I’d be incredibly grateful. #Soultalk
10. Hire me for speaking event. Buy the book to give to your attendees and I’ll be super excited. This is a great way to support me and my work.
